This fellowship aims to support and nurture artistic talent within the diverse landscapes of the Himalayas, encompassing the eight Northeastern states and other Himalayan regions of India.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the fellowship, applicants must:
- Be a creative practitioner working across mediums such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, architecture, sound and music, design, crafts, installations, performance, literature, and oral history.
- Be a domicile of one of the following Indian Himalayan regions:
- Jammu and Kashmir
- Ladakh
- Uttarakhand
- Himachal Pradesh

Fellowship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a one-time grant of up to ₹3,00,000. This financial support will assist fellows in developing their proposed projects through research, production, dissemination, and other necessary mobilization efforts.
